Pippa Middleton has finally got a job; working for Waitrose, but she of course is not going to be shelving the food at the stores. Instead, her new job consists of writing for the Waitrose food magazine offering regular entertainment and cooking tips via a new column.
Although her book has been the laughing stock of the industry and was called out for being full of obvious and simple cooking advice, it would appear that Waitrose at least wants to cash in on her famous name. Her new column is going to be titled ‘Pippa’s Friday Night Feasts.’ Pippa’s column will first appear in April and is billed as offering causal recipes and dining ideas to consumers.
Editor for the Waitross Magazine, William Sitwell, is pretty happy about getting Pippa to write for them stating that Pippa is going to be an excellent magazine contributor and she will bring a great deal of entertaining experience to the table that she has partially learned just from working in the party industry as part of the family business.
He added that readers are going to love the great entertainment ideas that will offer a relaxed approach to party planning for a variety of occasions. Hopefully readers are a little easier on Pippa this time around then they were when they read her book ‘Celebrate’ because then they took to Twitter and created a spoof account filed with sarcastic humour mocking her common sense ‘tips.’
However, Pippa is obviously excited to be given another chance to write about the cooking world stating that she is delighted to be writing for the magazine and added that that the Waitrose Kitchen has always served as an inspiration for her since it offers so many food tips and has such a great style.
